At Silver Moon Pet Sitting, I provide calm, dependable and personalised pet care across Coffs Harbour and the Mid North Coast, NSW. Whether your pets are cared for in the comfort of their own home or your dachshund or small dog is welcomed into mine, their individual needs, routines and comfort are always at the heart of their care. I offer a gentle, attentive approach shaped by patience, consistency and genuine respect for every animal. From sensitive and senior pets to those who simply thrive on routine and companionship, my aim is to help them feel safe, settled and genuinely cared for while you’re away. Bookings are intentionally limited to ensure personal, attentive care.

Overnight & Extended Pet Sitting 

Calm companionship in your pet's own space.  

Overnight and extended stays are suited to pets who feel most at ease with a familiar, reassuring presence while you are away. Care is provided within your home, gently maintaining your pet’s natural rhythm, routines and familiar surroundings. I accept only one in-home pet sitting household at a time, so I’m not moving between multiple pet sits during your booking. This allows me to offer a calm, consistent presence and the individual attention your pets deserve. From companionship and enrichment to feeding, walks and everyday routines, care is shaped around your pet’s individual needs. Thoughtful updates and photos are shared along the way, so you can step away knowing they are settled, comfortable and genuinely cared for.

 

Daily Pet Visits

Gentle check-ins to maintain rhythm and comfort.

Daily visits are ideal for shorter periods away or for pets who are comfortable spending time alone between visits.   Each visit is carried out with care and intention, supporting your pet’s usual rhythm through feeding, fresh water, light enrichment and quiet interaction suited to their nature. Updates and photos are shared following each visit, offering reassurance that your pet remains settled and comfortable in their own home. Well suited to independent pets, cats and those who require gentle check-ins throughout the day.

 

Daytime Pet Sitting

Gentle structure, familiar surroundings, steady companionship.

In-home daytime care is ideal for pets who benefit from company and continuity throughout the day while you are away. Care is provided within your home, allowing your pet to remain settled in their familiar environment with their usual routine gently maintained. This service is available for dogs, cats, birds and other companion animals, with time spent providing companionship, enrichment, routine care and a quiet presence suited to their individual needs. Daytime care is especially suited to puppies, senior pets, sensitive animals or those who simply prefer not to be alone for long periods. Thoughtful updates and photos are provided throughout the booking, with flexible timeframes discussed beforehand.



Dachshund & Small Dog Home Stay & Daycare 

A calm, home-based space where your dog is cared for as one of my own.

As a dachshund owner myself, I understand their unique little personalities, routines and love of companionship. I share my home with two dachshunds and offer a quiet, comfortable alternative to traditional boarding, welcoming dachshunds and compatible small dogs into everyday home life as part of the family. Both overnight home stays and doggy daycare are available, with plenty of companionship, individual attention, play, rest time and walks where suitable. I also provide regular photo updates so you can see how your dog is enjoying their stay. To keep my home calm and comfortable, I welcome only a limited number of dogs, with all care offered on a case-by-case basis. A meet and greet is required before the first stay to make sure your dog is comfortable with me, my home and my two resident dachshunds. Enjoy your time away while your pets are gently cared for.

If you are visiting the area with your pets and would like some time out, I offer calm, in-home care within your accommodation, allowing your pets to remain relaxed in a familiar space. Whether you are heading out for dinner, exploring the area or enjoying a day trip, your pets are quietly cared for in your absence, with their comfort and routine gently maintained.

Care in Your Pet’s Home
Overnight Care — $100 per day 
Calm, consistent care in your pet’s familiar home environment, including feeding, companionship, enrichment, play, routine care and walks where suitable.  
I remain with your pets for much of the day while coming and going as needed, allowing me to maintain their usual routine while providing plenty of company and reassurance. 
Includes care for up to two pets. 
Additional pets — price on enquiry.
Care is priced by calendar day, including arrival and departure days. Final pricing is based on the arrival and departure times required for your booking.

 

Daily Home Visits — $60 
A 60-minute unhurried visit for up to two pets, including feeding, companionship, play, enrichment and general care of your pet’s space. Outdoor time or a short walk can also be included where suitable.  
Additional pets — price on enquiry.


Extended Daytime Care — from $110 
For pets who need a little more time, companionship or support during the day. 
Up to 2 hours — $110 
Longer daytime stays — pricing available on enquiry.
Additional pets — price on enquiry.
Ideal for puppies, older pets or animals who benefit from a longer, more settled visit.

 

Dachshund & Small Dog Care in My Home   
Home Stay — $75 per night  
A relaxed overnight stay in my home with my two resident dachshunds, including companionship, individual care, play, rest time, walks where suitable and regular photo updates. 

 

Doggy Daycare — $55 per day 
A comfortable day spent in my home with companionship, supervision, play, rest time and walks where suitable, along with photo updates throughout their stay. Home stays and daycare are offered on a limited basis and require a meet and greet beforehand to ensure everyone is happy and comfortable together. 
Owners provide their pet's usual food, medication and any special comfort items.

Meet & Greet

Before confirming a booking, I offer a gentle meet and greet so we can get to know each other and ensure your pets feel comfortable and at ease. This allows me to understand their routine, preferences and any specific needs, so I can provide the calm, attentive care they are used to.

 

Travel & Consultation

An initial meet and greet is complimentary within my local service area. For homes further away, a small travel contribution applies. Any additional travel will always be discussed with you prior to confirming your booking.

 

Booking & Payment

Following our meet and greet, your booking will be confirmed once your deposit has been received and your dates secured. A 30% deposit is required to reserve your booking, with the remaining balance due 48 hours prior to the commencement of care. Payment can be made via PayID or bank transfer.
If you need to cancel, deposits are refundable when a minimum of 14 days notice is provided. For cancellations made within 14 days of the booking commencement date, the 30% deposit will be retained as those dates have been reserved exclusively for your booking. 
If a booking is shortened or ends earlier than planned, the full amount for the originally reserved dates remain payable, as those dates have been held exclusively for your pet’s care.

I am also open to caring for birds and farm animals where support is needed. I have extensive hands-on experience caring for parrots and am comfortable with their individual routines, personalities and specialised care needs. I follow your home routines carefully and ensure your home remains secure, while offering a steady, attentive presence throughout my time in your care. I do not introduce unfamiliar animals or environments unless discussed with you beforehand. You will receive regular updates and photos, so you feel reassured while you are away. Clear communication and consistency are always maintained. Your home and pets are treated with the same care and respect I would give my own.

 

What is your booking process like?

You can contact me via the enquiry form or email. From there, we arrange a gentle meet and greet so I can get to know you and your pets and discuss their individual needs. We will go through routines, feeding, medications and any quirks or comforts that help your pet feel at ease. Once dates are confirmed and a deposit is received, your booking is secured and confirmation is provided. A calm introduction is important for both you and your pets, allowing everyone to feel comfortable and settled before your time away.
